2026-2027 TRYOUTS ARE SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 15TH-18TH

Tryout registration is now open for our 2026-2027 Competitive Program. Our program features the following:

A full year of high level play
Professional and trained coaches at all levels
Single gender teams at U8-U16 levels
Small roster sizes to maximize playing time
Local and regional tournament play
Weekly technical skills sessions included in cost of registration
Team uniforms included in cost of registration
Flexible payment options and financial assistance

And most importantly, your child gets an AWESOME, HIGH QUALITY soccer experience playing with teammates who will be together through high school. Play where you live and build community pride and friendships that last a lifetime!

*NEW THIS YEAR: AGE GROUPINGS HAVE CHANGED TO MORE CLOSELY ALIGN WITH GRADE LEVEL (AUGUST 1ST-JULY 31ST)*

Tryouts are open to all players with birth years between 2021 and 2010 with prior soccer experience. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Register for tryouts here

APYSL/APFC is looking for local businesses to sponsor our programs!

For over 30 years Averill Park Youth Soccer League has provided an affordable and high-quality program for local youth to learn and excel in the great sport of soccer. We are 100% volunteer-run and strive to make soccer accessible to players of all skills and ages through our recreation and travel programs. Our players learn the fundamentals of the game in a safe, nurturing environment. Players also learn sportsmanship, teamwork, and create friendships that last a lifetime.

The number of children enrolled in our program has remained extremely strong, with over 800 players each year participating in soccer at the recreational or travel level. Through the many years that our programs have been successfully running, we have focused on creating as many opportunities as we can for players at an affordable price.

In order to maintain that affordability and continue to grow our program, we are now offering the opportunity for local businesses to advertise with us through sponsorships. Our sponsors will have their color business logo on the wall at our NEW INDOOR CLUBHOUSE where we host practices, an indoor rec program, and lots of other activities during the fall/winter/Spring and will also sponsor a field at our fall and Spring outdoor rec programs. Sponsors will be highlighted throughout the fall and Spring seasons on our social media pages and website.
