APFC Welcomes Connor DeSantis as U10 Braves Coach
Sage Men's Assistant Coach Joins APFC

Coach DeSantis will join the APFC as coach of the Boy's U10 Braves team beginning on January 1, 2026. He is the Assistant Coach for the Russell Sage College Men's Soccer Team. In four seasons with the team, Russell Sage has earn three appearances to the Empire 8 Conference Playoffs (22’, 24’, 25’). During Fall 2025, Russell Sage recorded its most wins (10) in a season since 2017, & posted a 10-7-2 record.
In the fall of 2023, DeSantis worked as the Junior Varsity Boys' Soccer Coach and Assistant Coach for the Varsity Boys' Soccer Team at Ichabod Crane High School. During the 2023 season, the Ichabod Crane Riders won the Class A Section II Championship, Colonial Conference Title, & finished with a record of 17-1-1 .
DeSantis began his collegiate career in 2015 at SUNY Potsdam, where he played two seasons with the Bears. After transferring to Brockport State, he wrapped his collegiate career playing two years for the Golden Eagles. During his senior season in 2018, Brockport State upset the No.6 nationally ranked Cortland State Red Dragons, 2-0 in the SUNYAC Championship Game. With their championship victory, Brockport State earned the program's first SUNYAC Championship since 2009 and punched their ticket to the 2018 NCAA Division III Championship. In the NCAA Tournament, they defeated the Liberty League Champions, St. Lawrence 2-1. Over the course of the campaign, Brockport State finished 16-5-2 and tied the mark for the most wins in the program's history.
DeSantis received his bachelor of science degree in sociology from SUNY Brockport in 2019 and earned his master's degree in School Counseling at Russell Sage in spring 2023.
He currently works as a High School Counselor at Ichabod Crane High School in Valatie, NY.
