The summer camp week of the Averill Park Youth Soccer League is proceeding smoothly. The kids are thoroughly enjoying themselves, with one half-day camper being so engaged that they opted to become a full-day camper. Morning communication blasts have proven useful. The campers are honing various soccer skills. Today marks camp shirt day, and they look sharp. More photos will be shared tomorrow.
ATTENTION campers signed up for the Averill Park Soccer League Summer Camp! Camp starts tomorrow.
There are a few things we would like to remind you of:

Dear sports parents,
I know you’re busy.
So, so busy.
But maybe right now.
You take a breath.
And take a look around…
Beyond the car
overflowing with dusty gear,
empty snack wrappers,
Gatorade bottles
and sweaty kiddos.
Beyond the early morning alarm,
the hectic schedule,
the laundry,
the endless hustle.
Pause and take a look
just beyond the horizon…
To the someday soon
when you get to sleep in
when the back seat is empty
and there’s no one to drive to a game.
Take a look around today
& soak it in.
It’s over before you know it
and I can promise
you’re gonna miss this
So take a look around.♥️
